Lovely bird , great click
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of the Red-bellied Woodpecker! One of my many favorite birds.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend.
Woodie, the feathered hero, braving the cold for a suet snack.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I bet they can really clean out a feeder too. But it's so nice to feed the birds during the winter months!
ReplyDeleteChristoper was such an inspiration.....
ReplyDeleteOh we awoke with about 1/4" sleet on the ground. (Thankful no freezing rain as that can bring down power lines). I filled up my feeders and suet yesterday warning my fine feather friends to pace themselves as I would not be able to get to the feeders in the ice. However this morning I did
break up a loaf of raisin bread in the fridge that I had had been saving for an icy day.
OMDs it was a feeding frenzy.
Hugs to you Carol and Ziggy

Happy Woodie & Suet!
ReplyDeleteI've had no luck with suet here. It disappears every time I put out a block. A neighbor even had the cage and all disappear.
Woody is a handsome bird!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bird.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a thrill to see a woodpecker.
ReplyDeletePoor Woodie looks cold!
