Oil pastel that hangs in my kitchen on Cape Ann MA
~ there are red heads in my family so this was my motivation ~ It was hard to photograph because it hangs so high on the wall and I am a short person ~ lol Below is another rendition I did recently in watercolor.

An exploratory water color of the first face above this one is one done quickly to see if I could do so in watercolor ~ The oil pastels worked better to manipulate ~ not so with this watercolor~ you can see lots of mistakes but it was fun ~

Well done.
ReplyDeleteThat's very pretty. Hey, I used to have red hair...really, I used to have hair!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like you have a good time with your art and that is most important.
ReplyDeleteWatercolors are hard to blend, but you did a great job with it anyway, Of course, I really love the oil pastel.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm short, too.
