Squirrels... they can really get your attention! Don't even get me started! LOL However, their medicine reminds us to "take no more than we need..." I really needed to hear this message today, Carol. Thank you! PS, I have a clear umbrella over my feeder to keep them out of it, but not the birds.
i want to thank you for every haiku you have shared over these eleven years in our friday haiku circle! you are a source of beauty, delight and the purest joy seventeen syllables could ever bring. with all the gratitude a heart can feel- i thank you.
It's smart not to let the birds become totally dependent on you. Same with the squirrels, they are clowns and quite entertaining but they need to find their own food sometimes.
