Aw, so precious. We have many doves here. There was a couple on our fence the other day and they seemed so attached to each other. It made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Carol. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Angel. ♥
Very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteAngel is a cutie.. We have lots of mourning doves here too.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo- we have Mourning doves here- they are so lovely and I love the sound their wings make when flying. Have a lovely day with Angel!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! We have a whole flock of Morning Doves in our village, it is fun watching them and the Stellar Jays "argue". Have a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely photograph.
ReplyDeleteRe, your question on the low carb diabetic blog.
I did answer your question regarding the baked beans, but I've copied and pasted my answer to you here too.
"Hello Carol
Many thanks for your comments and question.
Yes, the recipe you are referring to is the vegetable stew on this post here
https://thelowcarbdiabetic.blogspot.com/2021/01/vegetable-stew-so-versatile.html
You do not have to use baked beans you could swap for another type, but baked beans can add an additional layer to the overall flavour.
I do adjust the amounts of ingredients used as necessary, the recipe featured will serve 8 people.
Hope this helps"
All the best Jan
Thanks, Jan ~ didn't do the baked beans but stew turned out delicious ~ Be safe, be well ~ Carol

That's such a sweet lovey dovey!
ReplyDeleteIt makes you go ahhh. So cute and just relaxing in the cool winter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and it looks like it is fluffing up to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteWhat does Angel think of those big birds coming to the deck area? We had one that had a white tail feather yesterday waddling around on the patio.
ReplyDeleteDoves are so mellow.
ReplyDeleteSweet (and well-fed) dove!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! We just put up some bird feeders and are enjoying identifying the many birds that visit the feeders. Morning Doves are among them.
ReplyDeleteThe birds do bring much joy don't they.
