'Give fools their gold, and knaves their power, let fortune's bubbles rise and fall, who
sows a field, or trains a flower or plants a tree is more than all.'
~ John Greenleaf Whittier
Last of the bird feeding on Cape Ann MA
We have had squirrels which could be handled but raccoons on deck was too much.
We are sharing with: Eileen's Saturday Critters.
I love your comments. Thank You.

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteLove the sweet Titmouse. They are a great yard bird. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care and stay well. Have a great day, happy weekend.
The Tufted Titmouse gang has been quite active lately. Love that we can watch them all winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, NO raccoons that close.
That sweetie sure is enjoying that meal. We don't like it when raccoons come on our deck, they scare our ferals.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful
ReplyDeleteWe have to either take our feeders down at night and put them back up in the mornings or close the holes. It's a challenge to keep the critters from the easy snacks! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteAw, too bad about the racoons messing with your bird watching but they won't stop coming at the feeder unless you do take it down- at least for a little awhile
ReplyDeleteLove the photo and the saying. To be raccoon proof, I think a tall stand on the deck with a baffle on the pole might work, if it is away from the railing.
ReplyDeleteA pretty little one.
ReplyDeleteHope you continue to feed birds. Have a nice day
ReplyDeleteOh dear, once racoons find a deli, they don't stop visiting until the food is gone. Cute photo
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, what a great new look. Keep safe and well. Jo
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! :)
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!
ReplyDeleteA wise decision. Can't have racoons around your property. They aren't healthy. The little titmouse will miss the seed tho.
ReplyDeleteNaughty raccoons; that birdie is a cutie.
ReplyDeletePrecious avian friend!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have squirrels or racoons here, are they classed as pests?
ReplyDeleteyes ~ both can be quite a nuisance ~
