I did not feel like celebrating having lost my dear sweet yorkie on July 2nd.
She wasn't 'just a dog' ~ she was my love and life.
He is probably watching the chipmunks that seem abundant this year.

We love your comments, thank you.

ReplyDeleteNo one can blame you for wanting it low-key... hope you are able to celebrate America's freedom day to some degree. YAM xx
She was a special little pebble on the beach of life. So sorry to learn about Zoe! There is no way to describe the feelings the loss of such a dear friend brings. No doubt, she had the best possible life and will remain your muse, only now as an angel. Having gained her wings, perhaps one day she will be the subject of art on your stones. I still feel my beloved pet around me even though she’s been gone for many years. Take care!
ReplyDeleteOh no Carol. I am so sorry to hear that Zoe has crossed the rainbow bridge. My heart goes out to you. May your loving memories of her help heal your heart at this time of loss.

ReplyDeleteoh I'm so sorry about your baby, she's over that rainbow bridge watching over y ou. I can understand you wanting a quiet 4th of July, sending hugs.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is fabulous Carol. I can certainly understand that you don't feel celebratory having just lost Zoe. She was a light in these dark days for many of us. I know I certainly was attached to Zoe and I never met her. She was a dear...as you are. Big hugs coming your way from me.
ReplyDeleteThe chipmunks are doing too well here. My neighbor says she thinks they are in the walls of her house. They have to get someone there to rid them. They can be a menace if they get into your home. We have them all around our house. I hope they don't decide to move in. There are very few outside cats around here. Too many dogs in the neighborhood I guess. Just as well because cats don't discern their prey. They catch too many good things.
Happy July 4th.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss. It's not easy, I know.
Zoe was one of a kind.
ReplyDeleteWe totally understand how you feel. Sending you hugs.....
