I'd not heard of 'Sea Smoke' before.
ReplyDeleteIt makes for a very atmospheric photograph.
Enjoy the week ahead.
All the best Jan
such a cool thing to see over the water....
ReplyDeleteFascinating! Since i'm only ever at a Florida beach in summer, i've never seen this.
ReplyDeleteCarol - a very mystical photo. Enjoy your week ahead. (And your quote is very appropriate!)
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! That's quite sight. Nice learning about Sea Smoke. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week. :)
A misty scene today. Have a good week Carol.
ReplyDeleteNow I know what is sea smoke. Yes, I am paying less attention to words and more on actions of people.
ReplyDeleteHello, the sea smoke is amazing. Great capture. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteCarol, an interesting term “Sea Smoke”. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've seen something similar over fresh waters. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe call that fog here. I like sea smoke better.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Carol. Scritches and lovies to Ms. Zoe. ♥
This sea smoke only occurs on very cold days ~ Fog is something totally different ~ ^_^
DeleteBrrrr, it makes me cold just looking at it.
ReplyDeleteSea Smoke, that's a great name. There's a beach in Milwaukee that was always foggy when I went in the summer because Lake Michigan is so cold. That's a foreboding photo.
