B for Boat on Cape Ann MA It is really a reproduction of a schooner and owner probably would not like to have it be called a boat. Yet, it fits for ABC ~ an 'across the pond blog.' Fun! linking with ABC Wednesday

We love your comments, thanks, ^_^
They always speak to imagination, at least to me they do.... I would love to be on one someday and photograph from the water to the land instead of backwards

Great photo indeed, warm greetings to you!
ReplyDeleteI am sure the owner of this schooner would be rolling if they heard this beauty addressed as a boat. ha.. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteHeisann, anyway, boat or not, it´s a lovely vessel! Great shot! ;:OD)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be one of those people on the "boat"-so long as I had my anti nausea meds:):) Love the sepia toned version too!
ReplyDeleteA rose is a rose is a rose a,d I guess the same thing can be said of boats, even if they have a sail. Lovely image, - love the sepia.
ReplyDeleteOh I really love the sepia toned version! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing schooners under sail. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell, BOAT is the broader term, so it works for me!

A wnderful shot! I like both images and love the sepia tone.
ReplyDeleteWell it's a boat to me too. I spent last week on a pontoon and we call that a boat.

Using the people on the "boat" for perspective, it's a pretty BIG schooner!

Elegant 'boat', I'll raise a schooner glass to it. I like your sepia take.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the sepia toned version really does look old.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of the schooner/boat! Wouldn't mind a tour of the lake in it
ReplyDeletegreat photo of the ship :) love seeing them in sail
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect in sepia! Could be from generations ago!! I love this. Carol, you and I seem to have traded blogging patterns ... I used to try to blog every day or two but found I couldn't keep up -- I've gone to a once-a-week post like you used to do, trying to cover all the memes that I enjoy. It just depends what's right for you at the time -- I like your new format very much too.
ReplyDeletePretty picture
ReplyDeleteLovely take on B

I once called a boat a ship, or was it a ship a boat, and got a lecture that went in one ear and out the other. I should've listened.
ReplyDeleteI forgot how much I enjoy sepia. I need to start exploring it again, especially in light of my new environment.
