Saturday ~ (2 photos) ~ Camera Critters and Saturday Critters
Zoe was very unsure about this new person patting her ~ Zoe really likes 'her space' and not to be fondled too much ~ We were at a new place with new people so she was looking at me for security. Sharing with: Saturday Critters link Camera Critters link |
Sunday ~ Shadow Shot Sunday 2
More than the shadows and light what caught my eye were the two American flags standing so proudly. Sharing with: Shadow Shot Sunday 2 |

Your posted comments are the reason we blog. thanks, ^_^
Most people don't realize that ALL dogs don't like people in their face. Especially when they don't know them. Good little Zoe for not snapping. I wouldn't blame her if she did.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are fabulous. Love your little sketches. Happy Week to you.

ReplyDeleteWonderful series of images.
ReplyDeleteI was just in your neighborhood last week! We spent a few days up in that area. We really loved your neighboring town Marblehead. I have put it on my list to make it back there with my good camera. I used my cellphone, but it didn't do it justice.

ReplyDeletePoor Zoe. I can understand her anxieties. I too am leery and uncomfortable around 'strangers'.

the donkey if not use to little dogs, was probably trying to figure out what to do, run away, do nothing, or attack :p (touchy little things they can be) lovely photos of the sun :)
ReplyDeleteps....I forgot to answer your question you left for me in my comments--------
ReplyDeleteYes, it IS padre island, but not the popular SOUTH Padre Island...this is still the same island barrier, but NORTH padre island...about 200 miles from the resort section of the island.
Love the DONKEY peeking through the fence at me.

ReplyDeleteglorious beauty captured with your loving eyes! thank you and zoe for all that you share so generously. i am always uplifted visiting you here.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your etegami cards and amazing storm cloud photos!
ReplyDeletevisiting from sunday sketches.
As time goes by Wow, my favourite
ReplyDeletemuch love...
Beautiful photos, Carol. I do love the donkey and horse photos!
ReplyDeleteZoe is so gorgeous! My Cody likes 'his space' when it comes to strangers too and, unlike Zoe, he would probably have snapped so I have to say 'no' to people when they want to pat him. They would get the message anyway because he gives lots of warning growls. It can be very unsettling for some dogs to have strangers approach and touch them just as it would be for many of us.
Have a lovely week!
Wonderful array of art and photos for the week!
ReplyDeleteReally lovely photos and your etegami in your sketchbook is so sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Zoe, I am so with you! I get very nervous when people invade my space. Love the etegami drawings. Have a wonderful day Carol!
ReplyDeleteLove the critters and the cloudy sky!
ReplyDeleteWhile I like wild sunsets, I haven't seen too many of them lately...mostly tame ones!
