ReplyDeleteHeheh love AMD's appearance in paints... and all those wonderful sculptures from scrap... oh yes, turn on the light... Blessings, YAM xx
So much creativity in this post, including your drawings that have such a compelling charm.
ReplyDeleteI love the water photos and those metal critters - so much to see around you. It sounds like you had similar weather to us with nice weekdays. But our weekend was fog and snow, at this point I'd take your rain.
ReplyDeleteI can get enough of those sculptures created with horseshoes. For a creative mind, nothing is seen as waste. It is time for me to create something new too.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful sceneries! Love the photos of gorgeous sky, and I adore the mail box fish! It's such a creative idea :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Wonderful images.
ReplyDeleteThe horseshoe horse sculpture is really clever, and I also like the fish--mail box sculpture prefect for your area. You did a nice job painting Art Muse dog!
ReplyDeleteA lovely series of sweet shots.
ReplyDeleteI love the way the sunset paints the sky canvas. The horse is cool but the first yard sculpture shown is kind of creepy.
ReplyDeleteYour quirky is so precious.
ReplyDeleteNice, lovely and creative! Happy week to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the art sculptures, we have one up north where I use to live that someone made in the shape of the predator in the movie alien vs predator. kind of clever
ReplyDeleteFabulous skies! The scrap sculptures are very interesting, especially the spanner person....what a great way to recycle old tools.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes,on my blog, you did see black face sheep grazing....
Enjoy your day!
Ruby
Love seeing your photographs for the week - and esp. that one with the horse made of horseshoes, how novel is that!
ReplyDeleteHello, Carol! The sculpted critters are fun. I love your sketch and the haiku. We have been having more cloudy rainy days lately. The view of the water and sky are just beautiful. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love the way you look at your world. Those creative sculptures are wonderful. Love the mailbox. Your haiku is perfect for here too. It has been so darned cool and overcast. I am ready for some sunny warm days. Love your journal page too. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteloving the creative critters. Those gorgeous skylines over the water always get me -I can smell the fresh salty air when I look at them:) Sweet sketch too.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of pictures; lovely sights from your part of the country.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week, Carol.
A lot of creativity from around the cape this week especially like the fish.
ReplyDeleteFun art -- quirky is a great word for it ... and just a great word period! The stone wall and wrought iron gate is almost as perfect a representation of your beautiful area as is the ocean shore!
ReplyDeletenice entry for q..rusty but nice
ReplyDeleteHave a nice abc-wednesday-day / - week

Although all the photos are great, Carol, my favorite is "Chasing My Ball"...once a dog lover, always a dog lover!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all your photographs of the artsy and sometimes quirky sculptures. I also LOVE that sweet watercolor in your art journal of Muse Dog. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great series of photos. The horseshoe horse is priceless! It reminds me of "Warhorse". Did you see that?
ReplyDeleteWil, ABCWTeam
Hi! I like your Haiku very much. The last two photos are very cool. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the ironwork pieces - the man, the horse (took a second before I realised it was a horse and not just an artful arrangement of old horseshoes) and what a great mailbox! Your journal page, as ever, is lovely too. Hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeleteI love the creative rustic sculptures made from junk. So fun to see. The Chasing My Ball drawing is adorable. I too am longing for bone warming heat. It's so cold and damp right now. Have a good week. xx Pam
ReplyDeleteAre those horseshoes? That sculpture is really great.
ReplyDeleteLove the metal sculptures although I think the man is my favourite just because of the variety of objects (it appeals to the collector in me) although who could resist a horse made of horseshoes. We have been having three seasons in one day at the moment.
ReplyDeletelooks like a sasquatch!

ReplyDeleteGreat fun chasing the ball drawing, especially when we see the little doggie just after. I came from Sunday Sketches but enjoyed the other work, especially the two photographs of the sky and water and that great stone wall with the iron fence, an interesting angle.
ReplyDeleteI love your quote! Somehow it helps me as my boss will retire end of the month and I do not know what the future will bring. Many thanks! And I love all your photo's too!
ReplyDeleteI especially enjoyed the beautiful skies and the horseshoe art.
ReplyDeleteOh, Carol...that sketch is precious. That little bit of red really pops off the page. All of your pictures were beautiful this week. I especially like the ones of the "sculptures". They are so interesting. The Chamber of Commerce ought to hire you to do PR for them. Your pictures show off the area as a gorgeous part of the country.
