All so lovely as always Carol. The pink sky after the storm is lovely. So colorful and hopeful for bright days ahead ... Eventually. The town square is great ... Beautifully decorated ....perfectly elegant rather than garish. Just the way it should be this time of year.
ReplyDeleteGreat images Carol, I love your first quote. Have a happy week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and beautiful words! Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots and words.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful coloring on those two sky pictures and of course the little dog is always so cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog. I use a Pentax K5 and a Sigma 70-300 lens - those birds were just so tame they were close! I do have a longer lens - up to 500 - but I can no longer hand hold it and get frustrated with having to use a tripod or monopod!
Gorgeous sky shots and pretty Christmas trees... I love the photos with the pretty bokeh..Very cute shot of your little Northern Light.. Have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteLike the look of your town all decorated for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post. The skies are lovely, as always.
ReplyDeleteThe stately lamps and Christmas trees are perfect decorations for what looks to be a very charming heritage building in the town square.
ReplyDeleteGreat haiku...and scenes but that North light was the best!!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly done a great job of addressing all the memes, but my favorite is always your dog. So cute.

ReplyDeleteThe Shadow of The North Light ties all together so elegantly!!! Blessings, YAM xx
the scene on first image is so Christmassy. It must be beautiful at night when all the lights are lit.

Yes, your shot of Art Muse Dog gets my vote too Carol - our pets are precious companions (especially for those of us who don't have family) and bring a wonderful dimension to our lives. Wishing you and AMD a very blessed Christmas!

We will be in Manchester by the Sea on Christmas Eve as that is where my boyfriend's aunt lives. One of my favorite life quotes by Richard Bach is "rarely do member's of one's family grow up under the same roof."

ReplyDeleteThe bokeh hearts and your star pooch are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteNice going, Carol. I like the light snow in your 'Early Evening on Cape Ann MA' picture that Art took. We haven't had any snow yet but it's been spitting rain. 60 and 70 degrees is too warm for snow.
