HOUSE HOLD HINT: ' Put some chopped spinach or kale into the cheese mixture of lasagna or add a layer of thinly sliced sweet potatoes for extra nutrition and flavor.'

ReplyDeleteThat sure is a look of trepidation - but oh what a wonderfully Hitchcockian shot! As lovely as they are, it puts the others in the shade... YAM xx
That quote from D. Lange is wonderful -- says so well what I have tried to explain to myself and others. I love your post as always. Poor art muse puppy, you are scaring her with that new photo gadget (I bet she's used to it by now tho).
ReplyDeleteWere you tempted to buy that hat?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words and photography.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos.
ReplyDeleteI believe in listening too.. but it's the hardest thing.. sometimes my own voice is just screaming.
ReplyDeleteHello Carol, pretty shot of the schooner.. and I love the moon shot. Being a dog lover, Art Muse doggie is my favorite..Great post and photos. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteHI Carol! T;) he ceremony you saw on my blog post was my son and daughter-in-law's 10 th wedding anniversary vow renewal --not their wedding! The two boys are theirs and our grandsons :)
ReplyDeleteI love this pretty red hat--for many years I had a decorated straw hat hanging on my door as a wreath--this would make a good one! Artmuse dog does look a little worried!
listening, yes
ReplyDeletebut seeing, too
i just realized your top picture is pi in the sky.
cheers!

ReplyDeleteSummer's definitely winding down - 45 degrees at my house this morning tells me that. Nice post - give Muse Dog a pat from me!
ReplyDeleteWonderful images. I like that hat.
ReplyDeleteI love the shot of the schooner. Art Muse Dog doesn't look too happy, but maybe she'll get used to it.
ReplyDeleteThe schooner is lovely. I'd happily sail away for a day or two on that one. Poor old AMD, she likes familiar things?
ReplyDeleteAh, listen, yes! Beautiful pics
ReplyDeleteSuch a delight to see great pics. And plenty of good ones come by you! Thanks for sharing Carol!

Listening is so hard to do sometimes!
ReplyDeleteFull of Grace and Truth
Your poem rings a bell for “truth”. So often we hear but do not listen to ourselves or others.
ReplyDeleteoh what really lovely photos. Yes, sadly summer is winding down but I am still enjoying every bit that's left. I would totally wear that red hat:)
ReplyDeleteExpressive photos! The moon has a glorious backdrop and Muse Dog's questions are captured wonderfully...wish I could hold on to summer's coattails and go where it does.
ReplyDeleteLove the Schooner shot, quote and household hint! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI love "practice listening." All your images show that you do that. Thank you.
ReplyDeletePoor Muse Dog. He needs a biscuit! Your photos are so lovely. I feel as though I am there. I'll have to try adding sweet potato to cheese filling for lasagna. I usually use spinach. Now I'm hungry.
