| 'She Boss' with 'new groom' resting in the sun. She has had a rough week, huckle bucks all over her legs, tick near her eye, got it out; but went to Vet to check it out and he gave her a tick collar and ointment for the scab, which she was not crazy about and then Groomer's appointment. She has had lots of walks; yet is keeping cozy in her little house ~ for Camera Critters link. |

ReplyDeleteYou photos are lovely but I especially like the rock with the sun shining on it. Beautiful capture of Mother Nature's art. And...Ms. Art Muse Dog is so cute. What are huckle bucks? Are they the same as hitchhikers, those little flat green sticky things that get all over your shoes and laces and pant legs?

DeleteHuckle bucks as we call them ~ are tan and little round splindly things in the grass that stick right to you ~ they are more round than flat but could be the same thins ~ Have a great weekend ~ carol, xx

ReplyDeleteHuckle bucks... an interesting name. Probably what we simply call stickers -- I remember being plagued with them when I was a kid! Poor ArtMuse Dog -- must have been fun getting them combed out!

Hello Carol, love your haiku... it took me many places. Hope little MuseArt Dog is doing well. And at a first glance! That last picture looked like an alligator to me!!! I thought what is an alligator doing that far north! Beautiful views, through your lens. Always! XO

ReplyDeleteThe sunset is so pretty, it takes spectacular clouds to really catch the colors. The reflection in the mirror almost has the quality of a painting. The fluffy little dog must be a huckle buck magnet, so sad to pick up a tick. The rock in the water takes me back to many beach trips and begs to be stepped on.
