Thanks for these fresh haiku!
ReplyDeletegreat photos. About the quote: I've always believed in fate! Maybe it just looks that way, after the fact... Enjoy the New Year! {:-D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics! ArtMuse Dog is a real cutie, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of your tree! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and have a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I normally don't "get" poetry or haikus, I enjoyed that last one. :) Your creativity shines!
ReplyDeleteWonderful haikus! I'm not totally sure if I agree with the quote or not. I don't believe that everything happens for a reason, but I do believe that something good can come out of everything that happens and turn it around.
ReplyDeleteA provocative question! Will have to get back to you on that one. Happy New Year to you and puppy.
ReplyDeleteI had never thought that a fading flower can look beautiful ! I can't agree with the quote, nothing happened because of my inner need, or would I need a burning house for example ?
ReplyDeleteLove the Christmas angel. Your fading flowers are still lovely as well. Beautiful haiku! It's always a delight to visit here.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful.. as always.. I come here and I'm amazed by your words and there's so much variety here.. and it's always good to see Artmuse.. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Yes, I think nothing is really an accident. Even when horrible things happen--years later you can see the bigger picture and always find some amazing things were learned...even if it was the hard way. Sometimes people like myself can't seem to learn the easy way. ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful post Carol. I love the haiku you have written for Carpe Diem. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteIt is not the last of winter for me ... but it is approaching a Happy New Year! :-)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good one! Last of winter
Wow, Carol!

And the faded flower capture is so poignant and evocative!
