M for Mast
Photographers' Thursday ~ Today we have a photo above for Alphabe Thursday with a prompt of the letter 'M' ~ Mast ~ on the lovely Lannon that we have sailed on recently. We are showing a variety of photos by sharing with several blogs today. The second photo here is of a small 'village' near us with its wonderfully colorful boats. Summer is coming to a close shortly so we are trying to capture as much of it as we can. Always working on our concept of seeing the 'sacred' in the ordinary. Looking through the lens of a camera does allow one to focus a bit more on those sacred moments. Are you finding the sacred, the glorious in your summer day?

ReplyDeleteIt looks calm in your part of the world today. I love how boats rest on water, supported, yet moving; submitting to flow, yet mastering direction. Lovely pictures.

ReplyDeleteI am lamenting the shorter days...looking forward to the transition to fall though...The boats in a row is outstanding♫
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice boat, Carol. I wonder what the passenger capacity is? It seems that it might be top heavy with all those people on board.
ReplyDeleteI like the colorful little boats tied. That little harbor reminds me of an island in the Caribean but I can't remember where it was.
Thanks for peeking in on my "M"eow cat.
