QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' It is a luxury to be understood.'
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Very nice. Sometimes our muse can be very allusive and refuse to make an appearance.
ReplyDeleteIt indeed is a luxury to be understood !!! Loved the quote :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! Very interesting sketch. Thank you very much for sharing my photo in your meme.
ReplyDeletesometimes are quieter...
ReplyDeleteand, as one who has lived in places where summer is the "extreme" season, after having spent 30 years enJOYing winter's intensity, I have learned that taking Life as it is will always make every season delicious.
stay cool, BE YOU!!

We all need to take time to give our creativity a rest. It is an important part of the process.
ReplyDeleteYour girl is lovely. Hope it cools off soon.

It's beautiful, Carol! This time of year it's hard for me to make enough time for my art, just due to the activities I have going. And when the days are hot and lazy feeling, oh yeah. I know how you feel. Perhaps sipping an iced tea will start your creative juices going again.
ReplyDeleteI've had those days. In fact the first five months of 2012 were like that. Not sure I'm back, but I sure like this Asian Summer of Color piece.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting - BJ

ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of your Asian style illustrations. That pesky muse - sometimes she plays hide and seek on all of us!
