Old Door at 'Fort' Welcome to our blog where I view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and with my assistant ArtMuseDog explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. In a previous post I had photos of an area of Cape Ann where I had walked with ArtMuseDog and my camera one day. It was somewhat of a nostalgic walk as well as filling my spirit with creativity. While on this walk, I saw the door above and through the 21st century technology on Picasa, I was quickly able to turn the photo back several years to what the 'look' might have been. This photo is for Tones for Tuesday where there are excellent photographers altered photos. The other blog I am sharing with today is Tackle It Tuesday. Here is where the haiku poets share their excellent creativity. Do check it out. It will add a creative feeling to your spirit. Also another poetry blog One Word The prompt was 'waiting. It is below the haiku. The word 'prompt' for today was 'bright'. Below are my haiku: haiku out of the darkness bright light shining upward comes showing us the way. -o- the wisest soul light glows gently every bright charm softly, quietly. -o- loud noises pierced ears ringing, vexations harm gentle bright words calm. -o- WAITING life more than waiting being, doing gently no strife, ease on down. -o- Wishing you fun and joy in viewing these blogs. Also wishing you a loving, gentle week. Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day, especially, ArtMuse Dog ^_^ There is a blog hop here Magical Monday Meme that is open all week for all creative people of all mediums. Join us. ^_^ QUOTE FOR THE DAY: ' Learn the craft of knowing how to open your heart and to turn on your creativity. There's a light inside of you.' (Judith Jamison) |

I like the old worn paint on the door frame. I also like the contrast of the green with the red brick.

I have been collecting photos of doors since I was a kid. Somehow they have always spoken to me. Love this one.
