'Poppy in Bloom' Welcome to our blog where we view life from the eyes of an artist's soul and explore how creativity enhances the inner spirit. It's Magical Monday Meme blog hop time. Come join and link your 'today' blog post creation (whether it is photos, needlework, crafts, arts, poems, etc.) Share with us and meet other like minded bloggers. Link up below where it reads' you are next' ~ enter and follow linky's directions. Thanks, ^_^. Remember to post a link to this blog on your blog. Thanks. Today we are linked with three creative blogs, Macro Monday, showing, of course, photographer's creative shots and Creative Everyday sharing creations of all kinds. Also Inspire Me Monday (click on link to go there) Creating at any age helps define the 'self'. Who are you? What attracts you? What feels good? What is fun? Exploring various creative mediums and eventually creating something provides the self with another role besides daughter/son, wife/husband mother/father,worker/grandparent. You will know when you find a creative method that speaks to you. Listen for and feel a little 'flutter of excitement'. Wow! This feels good. This is fun. It may take some time and trial and error; trust your intuitive self and stay with the process. The photo below is a three year old experimental creation that was all part of the process of coming to where I am right now. Today. I still 'play' and explore with creating. In the mean time, check out the links here today and link up with our blog hop and see what the 'world' is creating. You may have found your medium already. If not, there are many to explore and share your blog with today. Wishing you a magical and happy day and week to follow. Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day ~ especially, ArtMuse Dog ^_^ QUOTE FOR THE DAY ~ ' Only the dreamer can change the dream.' (John Logan) Link up below and then post a link to my blog on your blog. ^_^ Starts today (Sunday and runs through Thursday) |
