SHE SPIRITS (A work in progress still) A CREATIVE HARBOR Welcome to our blog where we view life through the eyes of an artist's soul and explore what creativity can do to enhance the inner spirit. Today's post being for Friday, we are linked with artists and poets. The artists are at Paint Party Friday hosted by Kristen and Eva. The poets are at Rebecca's Haiku My Heart. Friday is always a special day as we connect with wonderful people who are kindred spirits in creating art and poetry. The painting above is actually one I began before Christmas and the holidays and being sick with colds and flu (at different times) I got side track. Below is how I began the above painting. It is being painted with Sennelier oil pastels and has taken on a life of its own. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO PAINT PARTY FRIDAY! HAIKU for Haiku My Heart I. oh to be close by hand in hand, embracing life together knowing answers. II. all mine to make now standing alone, decisions Tao will show me today. III. whisperings in trees telling tales of long ago change the one constant. Thank you all for being you. Please visit the artists and poets and wishing you a wonder filled weekend. Hugs and namaste, and We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day, especially, ArtMuse Dog. Thanks. Check out our Magical Monday Blog Hop and help build a following for us. Love to have you join. QUOTE FOR THE DAY: 'Perhaps too much of everything is as bad as too little.' (Edna Ferber) |

Pretty she spirits. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been standing alone now for 19 years. I didn't have the best hand in hands, so I have been very happy. ;)

Hi Carol (and Art Muse Dog, of course!) - I REALLY love the way that your haikus are separate, and yet cans stand alone also. I am going to have to try something like that at some point. Love the pastels too :)

Reaching out
In a community of heart,
Regarding all that lives
As one family.
