PAINT PARTY FRIDAY and HAIKU MY HEART

BRAVE HEART

A CREATIVE HARBOR

Welcome to our blog where we view life through the eyes of an artist's soul and explore what creativity can do to enhance the inner spirit. I have a little assistant and her name is ArtMuse Dog (professional name). If you like dogs, you will love her. See if you can find her. ^_^

Today our post is for Paint Party Friday which is a wonderful online group of artists from all around the world. Kristin and Eva are our hosts and we thank you for hosting this wonderful Friday event. Also, our haiku for Rebecca's haiku my heart. Once again these poets are wonderful and are from all around the world. Thank you, Rebecca.

My painting above is another of my Asian brush paintings and it was modeled after a picture of a wolf on a card I had received in the mail. This is my rendition and I have named it 'Brave Heart.'

My haiku

my mind, illusion
loves dreams of grandeur being
like a butterfly.

stuff and more stuff to
fill my ego illusions
real self knows it's false.

So glad you came by to visit. Hope you will come again. We also have photography, haiku, collage, mixed media and Magical Monday Blog Meme. Come back now, y'all.

Hugs and namaste,

We love to have you post your comments, thoughts or questions to delight us all in the day. (especially ArtMuse Dog)

  2. Yaw more of your line paintings! I LOVE how expressive you get with these and I know it must be SO much harder than it looks! To me, simple expressive lines are always the hardest things to do...

  37. Brave Heart is so cute reminds me of my mom's dog Lupe who sadly is not well .Just returning home last night from visiting him I saw the most beautiful sunset and was very disappointed that once again I didn't bother to take the camera along and then remembered my cell and took a few pictures but missed most of the pulsating sunset. When I Arrived here I thought you lived in Ottawa.....goes to show we are all fortunate to see God' infinite beauty. Thanks for sharing and adore your new blog and lovely, lovely header.
