This photo is for Our World Tuesday. This was taken just after  Hurricane Irene. The ocean was still raging with its mighty power even though the storm had ended. This is on Cape Ann MA
Thanks to them both for hosting.






Obviously my Sock Monkey is for Ruby Tuesday. I actually bought this for myself when I was shopping for a hostess gift for a party I was going to. He was so adorable and so colorful and so he is now decorating my house. Nice to treat yourself, huh?

    That is such a cute little colorful sock monkey!

    Wow...Scary view of Hurricane Irene though...the force of hurricanes are a so powerful ...I am so thankful that we haven't had one come our way in a while, we are inland by at least 30 miles, but when they come...we run...my heart always goes out to those directly in their path. Thanks for sharing your photos and Thanks so much for visiting me at my blog and leaving your sweet comment :)

    Love the sock monkey - the many colors make this a disarming and friendly simian. A smile will start your day with this guy. I think even our cat would enjoy his company!

    The ocean can look benign - but even a calm sea can be a danger. Irene going by makes for a rough surf. Beautiful but a bear should we forget its power...
