Splendid tour of Cape Ann. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteI've missed you! Your pup is the cutest thing; keep her on that leash or the decorative "thing" will get her!
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!
Yes the last is definitely the best. I'm not sure about wolfie decorating nature's palette though.
ReplyDeleteWow … for a second I thought that yard decoration was real. Your pet is so much more cuddly … I would rather see a sculpture of Artmuse Dog there!
ReplyDeleteLoved the post. Not sure I'd want to know the people who decorate their yard with a snarling wolf, but everything else is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Summer at the shore! Life is good.
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to visit your blog ! Wonderful pictures !
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Nice to see Motif #1 still in such good repair! The wolf is likely there to keep certain pesky critters away. I wonder if it works. Zoe is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely images from your world. The yard art is scary looking! I love the egret and your cute pup! Have a happy week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI am sure your Muse would love to chase that Great Egret. Lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful ship for Blue Monday! Love all the photos!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the barn looks like one I know from Rockport ...and then read that it actually is. I don't like the scary yard wolf.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and beautiful scenery - except for that bizarre yard decoration!?! I especially like the white egret with all those shades of green around it - water, vegetation and the light reflections.
ReplyDeleteArtmuse Dog is awesome as always. And your ocean shots are always a joy to see. I'll be in your part of the world in a few weeks!
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't show it I wouldn't believe someone would opt to decorate their yard with that....whatever that is :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. That one is a bit scary! Thanks for sharing. Most of them. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Love the photos, love Massachusetts (beautiful state!), and love that haiku! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful it must be to see all the boats coming and going...gorgeous photos! I especially love the haiku with that soft., peaceful background. And I love too how Art muse dog's leash jacket matches her tongue so perfectly:):)
ReplyDeleteOh, that has to be one of the nastiest lawn ornaments I've ever seen!
Love the last photo.
ReplyDeleteLove your dog and that egret! Not so keen on that unusual garden decoration!
ReplyDeleteThese are great photos! Good job!
ReplyDeleteI love the seaside photos, but I have to admit that lawn "ornament" scared me a bit!
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely shots. The yard decoration is so strange. Thanks for visiting my Blue Monday
ReplyDeletePlease link your barn after 6pm central to the Barn Collective. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteThese creations are wonderful! Beautiful and fantastic images!
ReplyDeleteHoly moly, that yard decoration is too much!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views and haiku (with the exception of the strange yard art, but it's funny if not beautiful)
ReplyDeleteLove the pearls quote! I've heard that a predator statue keeps nuisance animals out of your yard and garden... for a day or two!
ReplyDeleteWhat a weird decoration to have in a yard, hmmm. Now that last pic? I'd welcome that in our yard any time. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and interesting write up.
ReplyDeleteYour quote made me think. Most of us want money, fame and admiration without making an effort. Just as we cannot get pearls on the sea shore and we have to dive deep and take risks so also is the case in every other significant achievement. Idle wish will get us no where.
Your haiku is also fascinating. The color green always brings peace and joy. I always watched vast stretches of fully grown green paddy fields swaying cheerfully to the gently blowing wind with great admiration and wonder.
Excellent post. I enjoyed it.
Best wishes
Beautiful post and images. Enjoy your Friday and have a happy weekend! PS, thank you for visiting my post and for your comment.

ReplyDeleteGreat collection.
ReplyDeleteDelightful views in your corner of the world!
ReplyDeleteWas that yard decoration in a front yard? I kind of liked it. It would be fun to have something like that in the yard! You really live in a pretty area.

ReplyDeleteWonderful set of images, very nice.
ReplyDeleteWonderful varieties.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to have that scary thing in my yard :)

"soaring energy"...what a beautiful thought!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your sweet dog on a verdant field! And the pilings on the pier are really interesting of the landmark building. Just love your photos Carol and your beautiful haiku painting nature's beauty! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooking through your lens always beings satisfaction.
ReplyDeleteThe wolf ought to have some companions. Maybe the 3 pigs. lol
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Carol. I like those trees, too.
Best wishes to you.
