Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and were able to keep warm or cool depending where you live. Rather hot and humid in New England with temps in the 90's still ~ a bit unusual for this section of the country. It is 'what it is'. Weather, we all talk about it and have very little control over it. Perhaps, this is why we 'talk about it'.  How is the weather where you are?

    Your little dog is adorable! I am visiting your blog from Mosaic Monday. The day lily mosaic is lovely. I noticed that you live in a seaport town. My dad was in the Coast Guard, so we always lived in seaport towns. I am currently living on the Mississippi gulf Coast, but lived in Rockland, Maine for many years. Closer to your neck of the woods.     I love rosa rugosa but I have always just called them beach roses as they tend to grow wild there.
    We are hot hot hot over here on the north shore also but it's cooler today.

    I have the same yellow lilies growing in my yard! :) The weather here has been hot and dry. The low humidity makes it bearable, however. I am enjoying that!
